Five other BSN students and I, along with our faculty facilitator, founded an NCLEX-RN examination review program. Since the project in just the beginning phases, my fellow board members are creating the "road map" to aid the implementation of the program by future board members. The purpose for the review club is to promote and provide students with a safe learning environment centered on discussion, problem solving, effective exchange of ideas, knowledge, and test-taking strategies that will result in confidence and competence for the NCLEX-RN examination. Our visions for the club include: to create collaboration between faculty and students in different cohorts; to review and reinforce learned information that is applicable to the NCLEX-RN content; to gain knowledge in testing strategies; and to build confidence and to decrease test anxiety.
